From school to college, I managed to foster a love for teaching in myself and with that in mind worked hard to get my Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola University in Maryland. During the time that I was working on my undergraduate, I decided that I would try my hand at tutoring. I tutored biology, organic chemistry, and chemistry itself quite extensively. Right now, I am working on getting my Master of Science in Biology at NYU and teaching in the introductory biology labs as well. I am still teaching students the basics of biology and chemistry as these subjects are my first love. I wish to eventually teach biology exclusively and I tutor these two subjects because of the difficulty that many students have with learning the concepts. I take the approach to learning as a chance to make a subject that is hard easier to approach and easier to understand. Students have always liked me because they see that I was once where they are now, needing help with a subject I felt I would never be able to grasp. I love to cook and bake in any free time I have. I also like to exercise and walk around and look at nature with my yellow lab.
